The various activities, organised by Spacetoon, either at the Spacetoon Studio, other parts of Modhesh Fun City or live from the various event locations, will offer an excellent opportunity for the kids of all age-groups to interact with their favourite cartoon characters and take home visual memories of the same. The various shows will also help in showcasing the children’s skills and hobbies in an entertaining manner.”
Among the bouquet of programmes on offer is the Hala Musical Show, a one-hour presentation at the Modhesh Fun City stage, which will be aired daily. As part of the programme, the kids will get a chance to interact with the presenters. It will be hosted by Hala Al Sabaagh, a young singer and one of the Spacetoon presenters and will encompass a lot of excitement, songs and fun.
Spacetoon Studio will also offer different activities as part of its calendar of programmes during DSS. It includes the Comic Story, where the kids can see different comic strips featuring all the favourite Spacetoon characters. There are blank spaces in these strips where the kids’ picture can be inserted. So the kids literally becomes a part of the cartoon show, and the same will be later given away as a gift in printed form or a CD. The kids can later show all their friends the adventure they had with their favourite characters.
For those kids wanting to send a picture postcard, the Spacetoon offers a chance for the kids to click their pictures with their favourite cartoon characters. The children can feel up, close and personal with their favourite Spacetoon characters, what with their pictures appearing on the postcards!
The Karaoke room allows the kids to record a song based on any background score of any Spacetoon videos. The kids have to select the video and sing along and later take away the same home on CD or VHS format. Coupled with this, the best singer among the lot will walk away with a special prize.
Another unique activity to be showcased by the Spacetoon is the Zomoruda Planet, which will present a lot of interesting events for the little girls. The Planet will teach the young ones the various aspects of tailoring, embroidery works, household chores and ways to prepare some delicacies.
