Ski Dubai celebrates its second anniversary with festive fun and frolics in the snow

Iconic destination announces its activities for the coming weeks during festive brunch at Sezzam

Dubai - December 9^th 2007: Ski Dubai, the first indoor ski resort in the Middle East, ushered in the festive season with a fun filled family brunch in honor of its second anniversary and to announce its schedule activities for the upcoming festive season.

Held in Sezzam restaurant, which overlooks Ski Dubai, the event was attended by staff, business associates, club members, media and their families who celebrated the second anniversary of Ski Dubai's inception and began activities for Christmas and Eid Al Adha.

Special guest of the day, Santa Claus, made a grand entrance by showing off his skiing skills and gliding down the 400m slope. He then handed out special gifts to guests and their families, before leading all patrons to the Snow Park for a day of fun in the snow.

Giselle Whiteaker, Marketing Manager at Ski Dubai, said: "In just two years Ski Dubai has built and consolidated its reputation as one of the world's most renowned leisure destinations and has established its self as an iconic landmark of Dubai. It has also succeeded in providing the experience of snow to over a million people, who otherwise would have had to travel abroad to enjoy the magic of snow. We are delighted to host this event which is really a thank you to everyone who helped us achieve this success and we are also very excited about the start of our festive activities which are sure to delight visitors young and old."

Throughout the festive period, Ski Dubai will host Santa Claus, whose grand arrival in Mall of the Emirates was marked by a huge parade on December 7^th involving elves, reindeers and a host of other performers.

Children and guests will be able to visit Santa Claus and be photographed with him throughout the festive period in his Snow Park Winter Garden or his cozy cabin. He will also be making guest appearances at Magic Planet. Special Christmas breakfast packages are available on the 21^st, 22^nd and 23^rd December.
