One of the most challenging roles of Reese Witherspoon's career was as June Carter Cash alongside Joaquin Phoenix as Johnny Cash in Walk the Line. All the hard work paid off and she scored Best Actress at the Academy Awards and The Golden Globes. Now with her clutch of accolades Reese has just negotiated a $40 million fee for her new movie, making her the highest-paid female star of all time ahead of the likes of Julia Roberts and Cameron Diaz.
