The Lady of the Creek says hello to Jay Ko, Anais Gruninger and Ulrike Schwirz

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, June 2008 - The 5-star Sheraton Dubai Creek Hotel & Towers recently announced the appointments of Jay Ko, Anais Gruninger and Ulrike Schwirz as her new Sales Account Manager and Sales Executives, respectively.

Of Canadian and Korean, Ko arrived in Dubai after a year assignment at a well known five star hotel in Shenyang, China, Ko decided that the booming industry in Dubai is too much a challenge to pass up and hence, focused his attention to this part after his stint in China, where he was in charge of exploiting business opportunities globally for the hotel.

Ko is graduate from a Hotel Management College in Canada before moving on to pass out of the Korean University in Seoul with a Bachelor degree in Business Administration. He started his career in the hospitality industry with various luxury hotels in Canada before moving to Seoul where he started a career in Sales and Events. In his new role at the Sheraton Dubai Creek, Ko will oversee the hotel's Asian market.

Also new to the Sheraton Dubai Creek Hotel & Towers' sales team is Anais Gruninger, who joined the 5-star property as its new Sales Executive.  A fresh graduate in Hotel Management from the Institut of Vatel, Nimes, France, Gruninger gained various perspectives on the hotel industry by under-going different trainings in Brussels and Korea.

French born, Gruninger speaks English, German and Spanish and enjoys sports. At the Sheraton Dubai Creek, Gruninger will focus on increasing the hotel's business in the embassies, banks and government sectors.

Also fresh on the scene is Ulrike Schwirz, who graduated from the Erfurt University in Germany with a Bachelor of Arts. The hotel industry is her passion and like Ko, she could not resist the dynamic boom of Dubai. German born, Schwirz speaks English, Spanish and French. She spends her free time enjoying new cuisines, volleyball and yoga.  As Sales Executive, Schwirz will take charge of the hotel's multinational companies and German accounts.

"We are pleased to welcome fresh talent into our hotel whom we believe will cast a new light and share our enthusiasm to spearhead the Sheraton Dubai Creek to greater heights", said Deeksha Trivedi, the hotel's newly promoted Director of Sales.
