Further to its constant endeavors to maintain its commitment on HSSE standards, and its aim to make HSSE as the company's NO 1 priority, Shell Oman Marketing Company SAOG has organized a safety talk on Minimum Health Management System (MHMS). The talk engaged the company's dealers, site operation staff as well as Shell retail staff. The talk took place on the 23rd June 03 and was presented by Dr. Tahir Baig Barlas, Shell Oil Products East - HSSE Advisor for Health Risk Assessment.

The talk engaged the company's dealers, site operation staff as well as Shell retail staff. The talk took place on the 23rd June 03 and was presented by Dr. Tahir Baig Barlas, Shell Oil Products East - HSSE Advisor for Health Risk Assessment.
The main objectives of the talk were to share with Shell Oman's site operators and Staff about some standard practices and tools on how HSSE could be implemented at Shell Services Stations together with the emphasis on the impotence of adhering to the safe procedures and standards. The talk also described some important HSSE practices in and outside the office environment, which may lead if not put into practice to Health hazard to the company's valued customers and staff and this can be observed after a long period of time.
Dr Tahir also shared his personal experiences and was kind enough to answer a number of questions from the operators and listen to comments from the audience.
