Sorouh confirms its strong performance by sweeping three prestigious accolades in one year

Abu Dhabi, UAE - December 23, 2007: Sorouh Real Estate reconfirmed its leadership in the real estate industry after Central Park at Shams Abu Dhabi won the prestigious CNBC 'Best Development' at the CNBC Arabian Property Awards held recently in Dubai.

The CNBC award follows two other distinctive awards won by the company this year. Sorouh had claimed Cityscape's Best Commercial Project award for the exclusive Gate District project, and 'Best New Business 2007' award at the recent Middle East Business Achievement awards event.

"We are pleased to have won three prestigious awards in one year. Such awards are true testimony to the positive direction Sorouh has embarked upon, with original and inventive strategy, and we shall continue to move forward," said Mounir D. Haidar, CEO of Sorouh. "Awards such as these mean that Sorouh goes into 2008 reinforcing our achievements and continued commitment to our investors and stakeholders," added Haidar.

Candidates for the CNBC's 'Best Development' award were judged by international experts on a range of property related criteria, namely energy efficiency, safety, security, innovation and superior architectural design. All of which are aimed to attract foreign investment in the UAE property industry.

Central Park is developed to add a diverse, sustainable and natural world in the city. While it offers exceptional amenities and recreational facilities, Central Park's distinctive elements, including the innovative passive cooling techniques and the water theatre, are set to position it as a principal community destination.

"Central Park in Shams Abu Dhabi embodies Sorouh's spirit of innovation and willingness to embrace opportunities. I am confident that with Sorouh's unwavering commitment to make a telling contribution to the development of Abu Dhabi and to create exceptional community living, the company will continue to prosper and our developments will continue to be recognised," concluded Mr. Haidar.

Central Park with its broad expanses of landscaped greens covering 8.1 hectares, features restaurants, cafes, water canals, lakes, recreational and sports amenities, all of which is designed to cater for the need and well being of Shams Abu Dhabi residents and visitors.

The project is an ideal opportunity for local and foreign investors, due to its premium location near the town centre of Abu Dhabi, one of the fastest growing and prospering modern cities regionally and internationally.
