Dubai, UAE, 29 November 2007: Shaikh Holdings, a Dubai based real estate investment and development company, has received an award for the 'Best Golf Development' at the prestigious CNBC Arabian Property Awards 2007 for its Sanctuary Falls development in Jumeirah Golf Estates. The awards are an annual event that recognise high quality real estate developments at the local and international level. The award was presented at a glittering gala dinner at the Madinat Jumeirah hotel in Dubai.

The CNBC Arabian Property Awards 2007 recognise the highest levels of achievement in a range of fields in the Arabian residential property industry. Entries to the CNBC Arabian Property Awards 2007 were judged by a panel of professionals with extensive knowledge of the international property industry. Chaired by Eric Pickles, British Shadow Secretary of State, this year's judges included Jonathan Price, president of the International Real Estate Federation (FIABCI), Omer Ghani, director of sales CNBC Arabiya, and Christopher Hall, immediate past president, National Association of Estate Agents.
Sanctuary Falls, was launched in July 2007 and has already generated huge interest and excitement from around the globe. The award recognises Sanctuary Falls as best golf development on a number of parameters - for its innovation in architecture, quality of interior design, landscape design and quality of finish of homes in a golf course community.
