Samarah Mall Opens Offering A Unique Leisure Destination in the Dead Sea

Dead Sea - Jordan, March 22, 2014 - Samarah Dead Sea Resort has announced on Thursday 20th of March 2014, the opening of Samarah Mall, making it the first and the only retail and leisure destination in the widely popular Dead Sea area, which attracts thousands of locals and tourists every week.

Addressing guests at the inaugural event, Nasser Al-Khaldi, CEO of the luxury Samarah Resort, said the mall would create a major attraction point for residents of Samarah as well as tourists and day visitors to the Dead Sea, offering them quality dining and shopping experience.

Since its soft opening in November 2013, Samarah Mall has welcomed more than 20,000 visitors every week.  In addition to its role in boosting tourism in the Dead Sea area, Samarah Mall has created over 200 job opportunities in the area.

Samarah Mall offers an array of local shops and restaurants in a relaxed environment to fit all tastes and ages. Outlets include Zaatar o Zait, Rovers Return, Pastiche and Zaitona, Java U, Juice Bang Bang, Candy box, , Buffalo Wings and Rings, Ocean, in addition to JKB, Regina, The Holy Land Gifts, and Dead Sea Treasures.

Current tenants, who share Samarah's vision of the Dead Sea as a world class destination, have been the first to foresee the prospects that are being offered, with its unique location that brings a brand new concept and experience for both retailers and visitors.

Samarah Mall and the 203 luxury residential units cap the first phase of the Samarah destination, with concrete plans to implement the coming phases over the next five years.
