Safi Airways sponsors 'From the Creek to the Skies" book

Safi Airways Platinum sponsor of the book

April 22^nd 2012: Under the patronage of H.H Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum - a new book 'From the Creek to the Skies' was launched at Le Meridien Airport Hotel. The leading international airline of Afghanistan, Safi Airways was the Platinum sponsor of the book written by Ghassan Suleiman Amhaz.

'From the Creek to the Skies' is the English version of the book first published in Arabic - Civil Aviation in Dubai - History and Future (1937 - 2020), that throws focus on the aviation sector and was written by the same author. The book will be distributed throughout the UAE.

"It is a great honour for Safi Airways to be a part of this project," said Lloyd Carswell, Chief Commercial Officer of Safi Airways. He further added, "Safi Airways is keen to support improvement and development in the aviation sector within the region and as an airline we felt it necessary to support this book."

The award and certificate were presented to Ghulam Safi, Chairman of Safi Airways by H.E. Mohammed A. Ahli, Director General of DCAA.
