United Arab Emirates, Dubai- 10th September 2007: SAE Institute- known as the world's largest audio engineering, digital animation, web design, filmmaking and electronic music production education provider- keeps up its DJ centric activity with the launch of its DJ Competition in conjunction with Radio 1.
The competition which is open for entries up to the 24th September promises to award the best DJ with prizes to include the SAE Electronic Music Production Course, cutting edge M-Audio Torq Xponent mixing console and professional Sennheiser HD 25-1 Pro DJ Headphones. The DJ competition comes following SAE's launch of its latest DJ Digital Course which is scheduled to commence on the 23rd of September 2007.

The competition, which searches for the best DJ in town, is open to all those aged between 17 and 25, excepting professional DJs. Entries must be in the form of a 30 minute House Music sample in audio format on CD, only and must be submitted to SAE Institute- located in Dubai Knowledge Village, Block 16, Level 2, by 24th September 2007. A panel of judges to include Radio 1 personnel and SAE management will make final decisions on selecting the most talented DJ. The ultimate winner will be offered the chance to further augment their skills by participating in SAE's Electronic Music Production (EMP) Course. The 12-week internationally recognized EMP Course provides an opportunity for music enthusiasts to unleash their passion for sound on the best music equipment and train with international industry experts. The programme encourages individualism and combines the fundamentals of electronic music production with practical experimentation and personal creativity.
Also, as a part of the hamper of gifts is the M-Audio Torq Xponent, the cutting edge DJ Console which brings professional-grade control to the world of the computer-based DJ. Winner will also receive Sennheiser HD 25-1 Pro DJ Headphones, the professional DJ monitoring headphones which are capable of handling very high sound pressure levels, offering high attenuation of background noise and extremely robust construction.
