To cope with the growing demand for studies in this field
United Arab Emirates, Dubai- 12th September 2007: SAE Institute, established worldwide as the number one creative media education provider, expanded its Animation Studies teaching team to deal with the increased demand for Animation studies at its Dubai Campus. Syed Mujeeb was promoted within SAE Institute Dubai to become the Animation Course Coordinator and Amir Jahanlou was newly appointed for the position of Animation Lecturer.
Mr. Marco Bettelli, Managing Director SAE Asia Pacific and Middle East commented, "We, at SAE Institute have recognized the growing increase in the power of Animation across different industries and we acknowledge the need to educate more and more of the next generation to prepare them for the Animation Boom seen around the world. We have just appointed 2 new teaching staff to cope with the large demand for courses in Animation."
Today, animation is used in so many areas to include advertising, architecture, building websites, making movies, producing music videos, designing computer games, and even in training programs. Dubai's current demands for animation are in the multimedia/web development, advertising and TV commercials, as well as architectural developments. But there are further expectations that the gaming industry will strengthen as more companies make use of the Freezone.
Industries such as Architecture and Advertising are increasing their reliance on animation. Properties are being sold to buyers even before construction commences and consumers are being offered virtual tours of their properties. Presentation of a real-life showcase of what they are about to purchase inevitably simplifies the sale of a property.
The same applies to the advertising world where, gone are the days of sketches. Now, clients are provided with animated product demos which present the client with an almost exact illustration of future products. This is extensively utilized in the Automobile industry.
Thanks to the power of animation, websites are able to stand out from the clutter and grasp the attention of consumers with the addition of visually pleasing moving objects and effects. Movies such as Shrek, Monsters Inc and Toy Story's successes are almost fully contributed to the impressive animation muscle used to produce them. The same applies to the special effects in The Matrix, Star Wars and Harry Potter movies. Computer Games are becoming more and more realistic as a result of the advancement of animation softwares and the enhanced skill of animators.
A growth can also be seen in animation within training schemes, with Emirates Driving School being a prime example. To provide safer and more efficient driving and pilot education, schools are turning to animators to devise virtual driving and flying simulators for their students to attain their training. This provides a controlled environment with lowered risk.
