"Dubai Taxi Agency is always keen to upgrade its mechanism & keep abreast with international events in this vital field. For this reason the Agency is applying the latest telecommunication technology to help employees receive the largest possible amount of incoming calls, and minimize the percentage of abandoned calls out of the overall calls received.

"Public Transport Agency added franchise vehicles operating under the umbrella of the RTA to booking & deployment processes in the Agency. The Booking & Deployment Section at Transport Systems Dep't of the Agency is currently recruiting highly competent and experienced manpower to deal with callers and serve customers.

"The system applied in Booking & Deployment Section links taxis of Dubai Taxi Agency and franchise companies to a satellite-controlled system; a matter which contributes to minimizing vehicle depreciation through guided & rational operations of taxis in a way that also avoids traffic congestion, conserves the environment, and responds to public demand in a prompt and effective manner. Public Transport Agency relies on an express data transceiver based on digital geographical mapping for positioning sites and locations; hence easing tracking & booking of the vehicle till it arrives to the customer. Moreover, the system enables the Agency to exercise full control over all operational processes, fleet movement and data capturing.
