Doha, Qatar, 25 March, 2012: The Roudha Center, a Qatari NGO providing support to women entrepreneurs in Qatar, partnered with Georgetown University in Qatar and the Women's Society and Development Club to deliver a workshop titled 'Women entrepreneurs and the law in Qatar'.
The workshop was led by Mr. Salman Al Alansari, Partner of Qatari law firm Alansari and Associates and a founding partner of the Roudha Center. Mr. Alansari presented the participants with an overview of the procedures involved in setting up a business, and stressed the need to have legal consultation. He also explained the forms of different contracts and highlighted important elements that entrepreneurs should be wary of when dealing with investors and clients.
Mrs. Shareefa Fadhel, co-founder and Managing Director of Roudha Center, commented that the workshop provided the ladies who participated with a good understanding of the legal aspects involved when setting up a new business.

The Roudha Center was co-founded by Aysha Al Mudehki, Shareefa Fadhel the Center's Managing Director, Shareefa Fadhel. The Center is supported by Sheikha Hanadi bint Nasser bin Khalid and founding partners, Silatech and Al Ansari and Associates law firm. The Roudha Center, an NGO providing women entrepreneurs in Qatar with a one-stop shop for innovative and effective programs and advocacy efforts, have been running different workshop from and Idea to strategizing it in the market and latest, covering the basic elements for starting a business from a Legal Perspective, was attended by over 25 aspiring women entrepreneurs.
The Center delivers business, financial, legal and training and programming services, market and exhibit opportunities; as well as office space assistance to guide women towards entrepreneurship and economic self-sufficiency.
