United Arab Emirates - Rotana, the leading hospitality management company in the Middle East and North Africa, announced the appointment of Hala Massaad as General Manager of Hazmieh Rotana - Beirut.

As the first woman to occupy this senior management role within Rotana, Massaad expressed her pleasure at being appointed to this demanding position. A Lebanese national, Massaad joined the industry as a trainee receptionist in 1996, and made her way up the ladder over the past 13 years, taking on managerial responsibilities through a mix of hard work and result-driven performance.
Massaad joined the Rotana group as Executive Assistant Manager of City Centre Rotana - Doha in 2008, and attributed her recent promotion to her personal dedication and commitment to her responsibilities. "I am proud of what I have accomplished in the past, delivering results that often exceeded expectations. I credit my achievements to my unrelenting passion for excellence as well as a thorough understanding of what it takes to succeed in this business," adds Massaad.
