Gifts & Premiums Dubai to highlight benefits of corporate gifting and company employee incentive programmes
Dubai, UAE: Taking place from 6 - 8 September at the Dubai World Trade Centre, Gifts & Premiums is the regions only show dedicated to corporate gifting and promotional items and will bring together manufacturers distributors, and corporate companies who are in search for the most innovative and impactful promotional products.
According to a survey conducted by the Advertising Specialty Institute (ASI), the average cost per impression for promotional gifts was not only the lowest but also more cost effective than an advertisement on TV or a national magazine. The report also mentioned that 85 per cent of people remember the advertisers of the promotional products they received, as well as respondents voting it as the most highly regarded form of advertising.
Also, in today's world where digital adverts are apparent in nearly everything we use when online, consumers are nearly 2.5x more likely to have a positive opinion of promotional products compared to Internet advertising as per ASI's survey findings.
"With the help of first-rate gifting solutions, you can sponsor an event and provide customised giveaways at a fraction of the cost. I believe this gives you a bigger return on investment compared to any other advertising medium." said Harout Bedoyan, CEO of Gulfcrafts who are participating at this year's edition of the show.
Another key trend being seen by the exhibitors this year is socially responsible gifting. Businesses everywhere are now putting increased onus and investment in to eco-friendly initiatives, and going green can be an attractive selling point when pitching services to new clients.
Nielsen's Corporate Social Responsibility Survey reported that more than 55 per cent of global respondents were willing to pay extra for products and services from companies that are committed to positive social and environmental impact. The region has also been seen to take this seriously, with companies such as Giftmania now holding a warehouse full of stock in the Middle East.
"With corporate social responsibility being integrated into many business models in the region, we receive a growing interest in eco-friendly and bio degradable products as corporate gifts. It's a good way to present themselves as a responsible organisation as well as build a positive brand image." said Biren Jasani, Managing Director of Jasani LLC.
Gifts & Premiums will be showcasing corporate gifts from apparel to bags, leather gifts, drinkware gifts, promotional items, high end business notepads and folders, customized pens, hi-tech electronics and almost everything you can think of.
Among a number of product launches due to take place over the three day event, Majid Al Futtaim will be showcasing their "Premo" business, which caters to a wide range of prepaid and gift card solutions.
