Regent Airways - the leading private airline from Bangladesh operating in the domestic network since November 2010 is set to expand its fleet with two (02) Boeing Next Generation 737-700 aircraft as it prepares to commence international operations from May 2013.

The airline currently operates a fleet of two (02) Bombardier Dash-8-Q300 aircraft it owns, and the Boeing 737-700 aircraft are set to join the fleet of the airline in April and May 2013, under a 6-year lease from leasing giant International Lease Finance Corporation (ILFC).

In a statement, Imran Asif, CEO of the airline said that the 737-700 aircraft was evaluated to be the best from the options available to choose from in the 120 - 140 seat category of airplanes, and promises to deliver the best economics and reliability in its class.
