Ajman, United Arab Emirates:  R Education and Academic Development (READ) is poised to open an American Curriculum School in September 2020. The 1 million square feet project, valued at AED 180 million, is progressing well under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees.

READ is one of the fastest growing educational groups based in Ajman, which aspires to become a distinguished and comprehensive education provider. It aims to have a transformative impact on students’ educational journeys from early childhood to higher education through the provision of excellence in education, research, and innovation.

City American School (CAS) will deliver a high-quality learning experience with a strong American Curriculum delivered by highly qualified teachers of diverse nationalities who will challenge students to reach their full potential while nurturing their individual talents.

CAS will provide a variety of facilities in a safe and inspiring learning environment. The new state-of-the-art campus will be fully equipped with activity rooms, libraries, laboratories, gyms, swimming pools, and outdoor play areas along with art and music rooms and medical clinics. In addition to the exceptional facilities, the campus has also been designed to be an eco-friendly and sustainable school with a focus on energy efficiency and power saving.

His Highness Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi commented on the conceptualization of CAS, stating: “READ projects are dedicated to academic excellence at all levels of education and aimed at  developing leaders across disciplines who make a positive contribution to the community. City American School will further contribute to READ’s portfolio and cater to the need for quality educational institutions.”

Mr. Imran Khan added: “With a focus on excellence and leadership in education, we are pleased to launch our second school to serve a wider range of the community with an American Curriculum. We aim to ensure the highest standards of education through emphasis on recruiting highly qualified teachers who have extensive experience, and we ensure regular training programs to keep them abreast with the changing trends in modern K-12 education and optimum use of technology to support the delivery of the curriculum.”

Commenting on the construction of the campus, Mr. Khan stated: “The new state-of-the-art campus is designed to encourage students to learn and actively participate in extracurricular activities which are essential for the holistic development of our students.”

The newly developed City American School will inherit the same values as READ institutions, City University College of Ajman, Career Enhancement Center, and City School, of providing academic excellence within a supportive and welcoming environment. Enrolments for the academic year 2020-2021 will begin on April 2020 and admissions will be open for KG-Grade 4 with a competitive fee structure.
