Doha, 6 March 2006 - With 50 percent more steel than the Eiffel Tower, Qatar Science and Technology Park in Doha is emerging as one of the world's major centres for industry innovation. Over $100 million of R&D investment has already been committed by companies such as EADS, ExxonMobil, GE, Microsoft, Rolls-Royce, Shell and Total.

Due for completion in mid 2007, the science park will be a home for research and commercialization by companies and entrepreneurs from around the world.
