Bahrain, November 14th 2012: The member firm of Protiviti, a global consulting firm, held an awareness workshop in Bahrain on COBIT 5, the Enterprise IT governance. Initiated and led by Protiviti, the COBIT 5 workshop provided the participants with an overview of the new framework, its adoption, usage and implementation in today's complex IT oriented business operations.

COBIT 5 provides globally accepted principles, practices, analytical tools and models to help businesses and IT leaders maximize trust in and value from, their enterprise's information and technology assets.

The awareness workshop gave the delegates information about the new framework and governance challenges using five principles and seven enablers. The workshop was attended by senior managers and professionals in IT and business from various industries and government sectors in Bahrain.
