Newly-opened 'Sun Studio' to target AED 25 million in revenue within first year of operations
Vladimir Kozhevnikov, Russian Commercial Counsellor, and Farida Kamber Al Awadhi, President, Association Of Professional Interior Designers (APID), UAE have inaugurated 'Sun Studio', the UAE's first production studio offering the use of the world's first 3D printer today (May 29th, 2011). The new studio is located along Sheikh Zayed road and will offer printing services from the first-of-its-kind 3D NEO UV-LED printer, which incorporates state-of the-art Russian nano technology. The new facility is targeted at interior decorators, architects, painters, and construction companies among others offering them comprehensive printing capabilities on any kind of material. The cost of the printer by itself is an exorbitant amount, which limits the usage to those who buy the printer. However with Sun Studio, the unique unlimited applications of this printer will be made available to all. In addition, printing services that were originally confined to large companies and enterprises can now be offered to a wider customer base and will open doors for those in search of printing solutions that are faster, more affordable and easier to use than other additive manufacturing technologies currently being offered in the market today.
