Disneyland - Paris has announced that it was recently informed by Prince Alwaleed bin Talal's advisor, PJ Shoucair, that the Prince who is currently the second largest shareholder of the Company (through Kingdom 5-KR-135 "Kingdom," a trust for the benefit of Prince Alwaleed and his family), intends to subscribe for up to 25 million in additional shares in the upcoming capital increase in order to retain at least a 10% ownership interest in the Company, after taking into account the completion of such capital increase.

"The Prince is supportive of the latest Disneyland-Paris restructuring and believes it addresses the Company's liquidity issues while allowing the Company to achieve sustainable growth," commented PJ Shoucair.

Prince Alwaleed (through trusts benefiting him and his family) debuted his Disneyland-Paris investment in 1994 with $345 million. In 2000 HRH invested $50 million in The Disney Company, the entertainment giant and parent company of the famed Disneyland theme park in California and the Walt Disney World in Florida. It also produces movies, publishes books and magazines, and has a stake in the ABC TV and radio network.
