Murtuza Viramgamwala to drive Polycom's sales and channel growth in the Gulf
Dubai, UAE - Polycom, Inc. (NASDAQ: PLCM) today announced that Murtuza Viramgamwala has joined the company as Regional Sales Director for the Gulf region. He will report to Daniel Schmeirer, Area Sales Vice President for the Middle East & Africa at Polycom.
Murtuza will be focusing on strengthening Polycom's channel and direct sales initiatives in the region. He will develop the channel community through customised trainings and the new generation of 'Polycom Ambassadors' programme that is currently being rolled out in the region. Customer experience and engagement is at the heart of this role, and Murtuza will drive the strategic business growth by spearheading customer-centered activities that best serve the market.

Murtuza joins Polycom from Zebra Technologies where he held the position of Territory Leader, leading the team in sales & business development and channel management. Prior to this role, Murtuza also held roles in channel management at Motorola Solutions and product management at Westcon Middle East.
Murtuza will be based in the Polycom Dubai office in the UAE.
