Middle East, June 19, 2008: Gran Turismo fans - start your engines, GT5 Prologue challenge is in town! PlayStation in association with Nissan Middle East FZE, today announced exciting plans for the ultimate in racing gaming the Middle East Gran Turismo™5 Prologue Challenge.
Eight regional heats will take place across the region starting with the 25th of June in Riyadh, KSA and taking in further venues in KSA, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Egypt and UAE. The fastest driver from each country leg will qualify for the Middle East Grand Final, hosted at Dubai Festival City in Dubai on the 19th of July.
The Grand Final prizes are fantastic with the overall winner getting the opportunity to test drive the Nissan GT-R and a trip to Japan for 3 nights with a friend! But there's more, much more! The Middle East Gran Turismo™5 Prologue champion will receive their very own state-of-the-art GT Racing Pod which comes with a 40" W BRAVIA LCD TV, a PLAYSTATION3 console, and Gran Turismo™5 Prologue game.

The competitions take place over three days at each location as follows:
