The Teletubby game being played at the Oasis Centre is   a delightful adaptation of the fun, traditional English game of Ludo.

The life-size game uses the lovable characters,  Dipsy, Laa Laa, Po, Tinky-Winky  as the Ludo pieces.

The animated television series, the Teletubbies, is extremely popular amongst toddlers, and most of children know all the characters by name.

Hussain Moosa, In-Mall Events Co-ordinator for Cartoon Surprises,  said, "The Teletubbies game capitalizes on the popularity of the characters. Normally, toddlers tend to get scared when faced with cartoon characters with large bodies and colourful faces.

"The Teletubbies, though, enjoy a lot of interaction with this age group, putting the parents at ease."

The participants are selected  to play the  game upon throwing a lucky six. Just like traditional Ludo,  four children move their Teletubbies pieces on throwing the dice. The winner  gets valuable gifts and prizes.

The colourful life size patch of ludo with the cute Teletubbies attracts a lot of attention from passer by and even the crowds participate with the children.
