Dubai, United Arab Emirates: Pinar, the leading food and beverage producer in Europe and the Middle East, was present at the 18th edition of Gulfood, the largest annual food and hospitality trade show in the world. Gulfood 2013 was held from 25th to 28th February at the World Trade Center, Dubai, UAE.

As a leading Turkish food and beverage production company, owning one of the largest stands amongst other Turkish exhibitors, Pinar was present at Gulfood last week. This year, Pinar continued its success in expanding its network, conducting meetings with several different sectors within food and beverage trade, such as: distributors, importers, hoteliers, restaurants and wholesalers from across the region.

Pinar also had successful discussions with relevant parties on the development of the food and beverage industry and Pinar's existing business and expected growth in the region. Also on the agenda as part of these discussions were potential new markets and collaboration opportunities across the Middle East and North Africa.

Mrs. Idil Yigitbasi, the Chairperson of Yasar Holding, which is the owner of Pinar brand, stated: "We are very pleased to have had successfully participated in an event of such a scale. We have conducted many meetings and negotiations, which have highlighted the opportunities and potential collaboration possibilities in the region. Pinar's Labneh has been a market leader in the Middle East region for over 30 years, and we hope to replicate the same success for some of our other food and beverage produce in the same geographies."

Our presence at Gulfood is testament to our dedication to showcase our unrivalled food and beverage portfolio, and showcase our desire to fulfill gaps that may exist in the Middle East food and beverage market."

The Minister of Agriculture, Livestock and Food of Turkey, HE Mehdi Eker, visited the Pinar stand and stated: "Pinar has become a famous brand in the region, through the export of its high quality products. It has successfully increased popularity of its products and had greater brand equity in the region over a relatively short period. We hope to see continued success at the same pace."

To engage potential customers and showcase the range of culinary possibilities with Pinar products, a Chef was present at the stand. The Chef prepared an exciting variety and range of dishes using Pinar products as key ingredients.
