Continuing a three decade strategic partnership

Dammam, 17 March 2012: At a ceremony in Dammam, Petromin, the leading engine oils and lubricants manufacturer in Saudi Arabia, presented the key of its mobile maintenance workshop to Almajdouie Hyundai, the exclusive distributor of Hyundai Motors in the Eastern Province. The symbolic presentation of the key activates the signed agreement for Petromin to supply products and support services to   Almajdouie and its subsidiaries. .  

Speaking at the handover ceremony, which was attended by senior officials from both companies, Mr. Samir Fakih, Petromin Vice President of Sales, expressed Petromin's pride in the three decade partnership with Almajdouie saying: "This is a strategic cooperation founded on the quality, range  and ready availability of Petromin products and supported by an unmatched level of service culminating in the provision of this unique mobile maintenance workshop that allows emergency and major maintenance operations to be conducted where and when needed, facilitating a significant saving in vehicle downtime." 

Adding his comments, Mr. Yousef Ali Al Majdouie, Vice President of Almajdouie Group, said: "We share Petromin's pride in our thirty year partnership and fully appreciate the benefits of their expertise and knowledge in the field of auto service and maintenance through its Petromin Express Centers."  He went on to explain that the new mobile maintenance workshop, which is a key part of the agreement signed by the two companies last year, will be used to support maintenance of Hyundai cars in the Eastern Province.   

In addition to the high quality of its products, Petromin offers added value support services that include laboratory analysis of used oils and lubricants, which can extend the longevity of products in use and improve the efficiency and life span of vehicles, machines and other equipment.
