Dubai-UAE: 14 July, 2013 - Orion Holdings, aprivate-owned residential and commercial property group based in Dubai, has entered into a collaboration with prominent architect and interior designer Tony Ashai, to design several projects that will be located in the Jumeirah Village Circle and Dubai Silicon Oasis.
The partnership agreement was signed by Samir Munshi, Managing Director, Orion Holdings, and Tony Ashai inDubai.
Known for his unique workingstyle as well as creative and aesthetic designs, Tony Ashai has conceptualisedthe homes of well-known corporate executives and celebrities. His mostrecognised works include Dubai Lifestyle City in Dubailand, Shah Rukh KhanBoulevard in Ras Al Khaimah, the Santorini Resorts, and the Tiger WoodsGolf Resort in Dubai.

Tony Ashai, the famous California architect was born in Srinagar, Kashmir and schooled in Burn Hall School. He received his master's degree in Urban Design in New York at SUNY Buffalo and worked there before settling in Los Angeles, where he has been for the past twenty-five years. Tony had a passion for art and design since the age of 10. As a youngboy, Tony attended the School of Fine Arts in Srinagar, after regular schoolhours, where he learned watercolor painting and sculpting. Graduating from highschool, Ashai was certain of his calling, for a career in a discipline of art.
Ashai gained fame designing luxury custom homes for the rich and famous in Beverly Hills and other areas of Los Angeles. Given the high demand for homes designed by Tony Ashai, his name soon became associated with quality design and construction among developers in Los Angeles. In 2007, Ashai was invited to design the Dubai Lifestyle City. Following this, Tony received several prestigious projects in Dubai such as the TigerWoods Golf Resort, Santorini Resorts, alongside the Shah Rukh Khan Boulevard in Ras Al Khaimah. Ashai is known to be one among the few architects in the world who understands design, construction and development.
