RIYADH: Global technology brand OPPO is celebrating the success of its recent TikTok #FameOPPOrtunity challenge which attracted more than 490,000 videos and 332 million views from Saudi Arabia.
The challenge was organized in 3 countries, Saudi Arabia, UAE and Morocco and invited participants to get creative either with OPPO’s cool series of filters and stickers or using the OPPO smartphone with its innovative camera to produce original, fun short form films for TikTok, set to the Reno4 Series song, under the hashtag #FameOPPOrtunity. Saudi Arabia attracted the highest number of entrants with 299,738 content creators from across the Kingdom uploading their creative take on the challenge.
Commenting on the success of the campaign, Mai Huang, Chief Marketing Officer at OPPO Middle East and Africa said, “OPPO is committed to engaging with its customers in different ways. Our new Reno4 Series smartphone elevates photography and night videography to new heights, empowering everyone to create original content and achieve their dream of TikTok stardom.
“The TikTok #FameOPPOrtunity challenge encouraged users to express their creativity and stand out, either using the Reno4 Series integrated features, including the innovative camera and fast charging battery, or with the challenge’s specially developed filters and stickers. OPPO’s new smartphone not only provides a wonderful design, but also adds a new style to life,” she added.
The new OPPO Reno4 Series leads the way with exceptional night videography and portrait shooting capabilities. Reno4 Pro 5G is further enhanced with a customized, ultra-wide, ultra-powerful Sony IMX708 image sensor with laser detection auto-focus (LDAF). At 1/2.3 inches, the larger sensor gathers more light making it ideal for brighter night videos or photos. OPPO Reno4 Pro and Reno4 feature a Quadcam matrix, including a 48MP primary camera, 8MP ultra wide-angle camera, a 2MP macro camera and a 2MP mono lens, in addition to a 32MP front camera.
