Showcasing the latest development in high-speed digital desktop printing shortly is OKI, the leading international business printer specialist. With established dealers throughout the Middle East, OKI is introducing the cutting-edge C3100 into the region from late May. Aimed at professional individuals and business users, this standalone, non- networked digital printer offers high speed and high-resolution colour and monochrome printing.
As the only multi-pass desktop printer on the market, the C3100 brings the added benefit of two in one printing to individuals. The model also provides users with a dedicated on-line help service.
John Ross, General Manager Middle East & South East Europe comments: “The availability of high quality, fast desktop printing has largely been ignored by printing manufacturers until now. The C3100 addresses the challenges for micro-businesses and individuals who need a cost efficient yet superior product to low speed inkjet printers.
“The flexibility of this latest OKI model will enable business users to produce quality material. Using single pass printing, it’s capable of trebling the production time when compared to our clients’ previous choice in colour printers. More impressively, it’s up to 75% faster in monochrome. An ideal solution for frequent users, retailers such as catering companies with evolving menus, including restaurants and function organisers, can benefit from increased productivity and reduced costs.”
Capable of handling different paper weights and design formats, clients can produce anything from colour headed invoices and estate agent details to time dated vouchers and supermarket point of sale material. Its capacity is endless.
The C3100 outline specification is
* Fastest in class – 12 pages per minute (ppm) A4 colour and 20ppm A4 mono
* Class leading paper handling from 60gsm to 203gsm plus business cards, banners CD media etc.
* OKI Template Manager equipped enabling easy design of forms, business cards, letterheads etc.
* Ask OKI equipped - The only on-line dedicated help service tailored to the printer and the operating system
* The only multi pass printer bringing the benefits of 2 in 1 printing to the desktop
* No compromise on the excellent print quality that matches the rest of the range (C5000, C7000 and C9000 Series)
The C3100 starts shipping to the Middle East by the end of May 2004 and will be available through authorised OKI distributors across the region.
