Focusing on the impact of nutrition on gastrointestinal development and cognitive development during infancy and toddlerhood

Dubai, UAE, 22 March  2012 - Nutricia, one of the most successful baby food companies in the world, will host its first middle east regional conference on Friday, March 23 at Sofitel Hotel, Jumeirah Beach Residence.  The conference is aimed at highlighting the most recent advances and science behind infant nutrition, bringing together over 150 Key opinion leaders and experts in the field of infant nutrition from across twelve markets to discuss nutrition during the different stages of a child's development, from infancy to toddlerhood, and the impact of receiving proper nutrients during these stages of growth with focus on the role of prebiotics on gastrointestinal development, LCPs, essential fatty acids and iron on cognitive development. It will also highlight the benefits of breastfeeding and its impact on health for the short and long term and its efforts to support it , protect it and promote it.
