After resuming full service in Abu Dhabi back in February, Careem introduces cash payments for all rides in the capital
Abu Dhabi, UAE – Careem, the Dubai headquartered, ride-hailing app, has today announced that Abu Dhabi customers can now pay for their trips using cash. This follows on from an announcement back in February that Careem was resuming full service in the capital with both instant and scheduled rides. Car types in Abu Dhabi are Limo (Lexus cars) and MiniVan (Toyota Previas) and the minimum fare is AED 40. Back in 2013 Saudi Arabia was the first market Careem introduced cash payment into due to the heavy cash-based economy.
As the only ride-hailing app operating in Abu Dhabi, Careem will continue to introduce new components to the service to help improve customer experience and to make Careem an affordable and reliable way to get around the city.
