19 November 2006, Dubai UAE - The Jebel Ali Golf Resort & Spa, flagship property of Jebel Ali International Hotels, has opened the Resort's brand new horse riding stables to coincide with the upcoming riding season.

The new Riding Stables are now located close to the Resort's main entrance and are easily accessible to all resident guests and visitors. The stable building is flanked by a vast paddock approximately 70 metres by 40 metres in size.  Landscaped gardens encompassing palm trees, grass and desert shrubs surround the picturesque site and in addition beautiful viewing areas under thatched gazebos are available for guests.

Mark Bettsworth, General Manager of the Jebel Ali Golf Resort & Spa is delighted with the new addition to Dubai's Only True Resort.  "The location at the entrance of the Resort means our guests will immediately be greeted with a Resort atmosphere combining both sport and leisure."

The Jebel Ali Golf Resort & Spa is the only one in Dubai which features its own stables. All the stables are air-conditioned and offer easy access to desert riding and a private sea-swimming area for the horses.  Hose riding tuition under the guidance of qualified riding instructors takes place at the spacious paddock.

Horse Riding Instructor Keith Brown said, "The horse riding experience at the Jebel Ali Golf Resort & Spa will now be even more exciting and rewarding than before. The close proximity between the stables and the paddock is a great bonus and the scenery certainly makes for an inspiring learning environment."
