Wael Amer, formerly Resident Manager of Taba Heights Marriott, has been appointed as the new Resident Manager of Hurghada Marriott Beach Resort - Red Sea, Egypt effective December 1, 2011.

The announcement was made by Sameh El Garf, General Manager; Hurghada Marriott Red Sea Resort Egypt.

In assuming this new assignment, Wael celebrates the 23rd year of his career with Marriott International and his responsibilities include driving hotel's business results; identifying and implementing ongoing operational improvement to enhance product and service quality; developing and implementing annual community relation activities that support the corporate strategy and respond to Hurghada city.

The Hurghada Marriott Beach Resort is a located on the shore of the Red Sea, featuring 283 fully equipped sea front rooms and suites. The hotel property has its own private beach and private island. It also has two swimming pools, 24 hours room service, discotheque, health club, tennis courts and squash courts.

Guests will be delighted to taste the delectable cuisines at the hotel's Italian restaurant - Tuscany, Patio Café, Pool bar & Grill and the main restaurant. With Marnet Internet café and meeting room for 10-120 people, the Hurghada Marriott is equipped with conference facilities.
