Kuwait, 14th June 2006 - 3M Telecommunication division have won a series of major structured cabling projects in Kuwait through its integrators Siemens and Al Diwan. These latest wins come as a result of 3M offering cost competitive cabling solutions for high bandwidth requirements, and make 3M the new market leader for telecommunications in the country.
3M has enhanced its telecommunication product range in response to the region's construction boom, and the upgraded Volition copper and fibre cabling systems represent a breakthrough in fiber optic cabling, having high bandwidth and unrivalled transmission speed. 3M have recently won projects to implement these pioneering systems throughout numerous Kuwaiti projects, including: The American University of Kuwait, the Mazaya Tower, the Kuwait Center of Research, the Ameery and National Guard Headquarters, the Kuwait National Library and the Al Khiran Resort.
