Middle East,  18 June 2012 - NEC Display Solutions Middle East and Africa will be showcasing innovative display solutions for the security market at IFSEC 2012 at the Gallagher Convention Centre in Johannesburg, South Africa from 19 - 21 June 2012: Hall 2, Booth HL15-16. NEC Display Solutions MEA will share a joint presence with NEC Corporation. Working closely together the combined security solutions exhibited will include display solutions for the control room and monitoring environment, facial recognition technology and AFIS solutions.

Visitors to this year's show will be presented with the latest high performance LED backlit displays from NEC Display Solutions X-series range. A 2x2 MultiSync® X463UN virtually seamless video-wall, with a razor thin bezel width of only 5.9mm content to content and delivering full HD performance will incorporate an ultra-high-resolution video-wall solution. The NEC X463UN will feature an integrated PC and software solution for a highly flexible content management system suitable for a wide range of user applications. Additionally, the slim-slim form MultiSync® X461S, with a depth of only 43.3mm and LED backlight will be presented in combination with an integrated PC for the NEC option slot, utilising OPS (Open Pluggable Specification), a standard developed jointly by NEC and Intel.
 
Suitable for 24/7 usage, these high-definition professional displays offer uniform brightness and benefit from NEC's unique heat management system which is crucial for larger walls and mission critical installations to secure reliability and longevity. Excellent TCO is achieved through lower energy consumption and streamlined maintenance features. Further features include colour calibration, network connectivity, TileMatrix™ technology for video-walls up to 100 displays and dual slot technology for the integration of single board computers and other option slot products.
 
Also presented will be the touch compatible MultiSync® EA232WMi LED backlit display with IPS technology. Offering superb ergonomics with excellent IPS image quality and wide viewing angles the 23-inch display has the option to be removed from its base and tiled to offer multiscreen solutions.
 
Now in its 17th year, IFSEC South Africa is the leading government security, commercial security and fire exhibition in Africa. In the region of 6000 local and international visitors from government, trade, corporate and enterprise user are expected at this year's show.
