Total of 53 centers with 3 million transfer transactions during 2013
In line with its ongoing improvement and expansion efforts, and the great importance that it gives in always putting the customer at the heart of its evolving business, the National Commercial Bank (NCB) announced the opening of new 9 QuickPay centers through the Kingdom. Now, NCB has 53 QuickPay centers, with 3 million transfer transactions completed during this year.
The new QuickPay centers were opened in different cities, including Al-Khaleej and Shemsi centers in Riyadh; Bawadi, Safa and Heraa centers in Jeddah; Ras Tanoura center in Ras Tounra city; Majmaah center in Majmaah City. In addition, the Bank moved Batha center in Riyadh and Seko center in Dammam to new locations.
Opening these new centers showcases the big expansion in NCB operations, increase of customer base and great demand on QuickPay services. This pushed the bank to provide more service channels to reach its customers and provide them with services through a highly qualified staff to enhance AlAhli vision to be number 1 for Customer Services.
Hamed Fayez, Senior Executive Vice President, Head of Retail Banking Group, said: "The individual transfers constitute one of the most important sectors for any bank, as it serves a wide spectrum of customers in the highest quality and in a very quick turnaround. This service makes international transfers very quick and safe, through either the QuickPay centers or the alternative service channels such as ATMs, AlAhli Phone Banking or AlAhliOnline 24/7. "
Talking on quality of service, Hatim Moussa, Head of QuickPay Department said: "The QuickPay center' employees are proficient on a number of languages, which enables them to provide the service to a greater number of customers, in addition to the competitive exchange rates. Now we transfer to more than 196 countries."
"Money transfers service offer the customer different choices of transfer methods; either direct deposit and receive the amount from transfer centers or to deliver the amount to the beneficiary home. The customer can transfer through the corresponding banks, which keep the sender and beneficiary notified of the transfer status by sending SMS to the beneficiary party." Moussa added.
It is worth mentioning that the 53 NCB QuickPay centers provided its services to more than 800 thousand customers during this year. This made QuickPay centers one of the vital channels for Al Ahli, where many services are being offered and the customer can complete the transaction in few seconds.
