Budget carrier offers 30,000 seats @ SR19 each

Riyadh - nas air, the Kingdom's only budget airline, today announced it is expanding its operations with a further three new destinations from its Riyadh base to Madinah, Gizan and Gurrayat. Seats will be on sale at flynas.com starting from the online promotional fare of 19 SR for the first 30,000 bookings made until tomorrow March 13th and valid for flying between April and June revealed Claus Fischer, Chief Commercial Officer, nas air.

The second phase of nas air's operation will kick off on March 31st, with daily flights to the holy city of Madinah, one of the busiest domestic destinations throughout the year, especially during Omrah and Hajj season. Scheduled flights to Gizan will start April 11th, and to the northern border city of Gurayat starting April 24th.

 "Following the inaugural Riyadh -Jeddah route, nas air now goes to higher gear and adds three more new routes its operational grid, hence offering domestic travelers more choices and new services and travel experiences to discover." Fischer added.

nas air's expansion and the announcements of new destinations caters for the increasing demand on the Kingdom's newly launched budget flight, which promises domestic travelers a reliable world class service with the best market fares, Fischer concluded.

nas air launched its first commercial flight on Saturday 25th February between Riyadh and Jeddah with 3 daily flights. nas air plans to serve all the Kingdom's airports by increasing its fleet to 19 airplanes and expects to fly more than 10 million passengers a year by 2011.

Passengers reserve seats with a reservation number available through any of the three distribution channels.  There is no meal service, but light refreshments are available for purchase on the flights.
