Wednesday February 4 - the fourth round of the season at Qatar is again an important event for My Qi-Meritus.Mahara, the only team with very strong links and deep roots with the Middle East through its Saudi partner, team Chairman, Raad S. Abduljawad.

Team drivers Marco Bonanomi (23) and rookie Earl Bamber (18), are both looking forward to making history at the Losail International Circuit, Qatar when they participate in their first ever night race. Marco Bonanomi will drive for My Qi-Meritus.Mahara for the second time this season while Earl Bamber, who has so far scored eight valuable points for the team, will line up for his fourth GP2 Asia race weekend with the team on Friday 13 February and Saturday 14 February.

Both drivers will start their first ever visit to Qatar early with a press conference Tuesday the 10th at 3 PM in the presence of Mr. Nasser Khalifa Al Attiya, QMMF, President and LIC General Manager at the Qatar Motor & Motorcycle Federation Headquarters.

Marco Bonanomi commented, "I expect to show the same potential as in Bahrain but fight for my first points and even a podium. The Losail International Circuit is a new track for all drivers. A night race has different characteristics, but I am confident, especially with the good job that our mechanics will do to prepare the car. I have watched some videos from the Motorcycle GP race at the Losail track and have taken notes. A night race will be much more exciting for sure. Earl Bamber commented, "the team definitely has good potential. We can be one of the top teams in the points with both cars. I feel prepared for the upcoming race after having completed a 12 day training program in the UK. The Losail International Circuit looks like it will make for a very competitive weekend. QuestNet has again staged a "meet and greet" event for their guests at the track and getting all that great support is really an boost for us!"
