To launch two new multi-cuisine restaurants

Mövenpick Hotel & Residence Hajar Tower Makkah announced today the completion plan of the remaining 797 new rooms by this year to cater to growing Hajj tourists. Within the new capacity, the property will offer dedicated rooms with an exclusive view of the Kaaba and Haram. The additional rooms will bring the hotel's operational capacity to 1200 rooms.

"We will reach our full room capacity of 1200 rooms by mid August this year, just in time for the holy month of Ramadan. Dedicated rooms on five floors of the hotel will have a direct and exclusive view of the Kaaba and Haram. Two new multi-cuisine restaurants will also be launched to complete our unique customer experience proposition," said Omar Boujlid, general manager of Mövenpick Hotel & Residence Hajar Tower Makkah.

The exclusive Kaaba and Haram-view rooms will have all facilities and amenities necessary for prayer and worship. In addition to the magnificent views of the Haram Court, the rooms have a direct view of the King Abdul Aziz Gate. All rooms within the residence section will be interconnected and are targeted towards families and large groups.

Built as a hybrid model with a mall within the complex premises, facilities on offer include shopping, local and international cuisines and souvenir shops. Business travelers can keep connected with the WiFi facility available in the lobby area. The hotel is stair-free which caters especially to 'People with Disabilities' (PwDs) and senior citizens. "We cater to our guests' every requirement. We are very conscious of environmental and health issues, so, most of our rooms within the property and the public areas are non-smoking," added Boujlid.

Keeping with the growth of Hajj tourists, the two new restaurants will bring the total capacity of food and beverage outlets within the property to five. Guests at the hotel can relax in the lobby lounge which showcases both a Moroccan Tea Corner and an Arabic coffee service.
