MobiNil subscribers can now use their mobile line in 2 handsets with 2 SIM cards, as the company has announced the launch of its new "1 Line 2 SIM Cards" service for Post Paid customers.
"Our studies have shown subscribers' interest in having 2 SIM cards for the same line, as many customers have a need to use the mobile line in more than one handset or in the car kit. We are providing this service to make their mobile experience easier", said Osman Sultan, MobiNil's President and CEO.
MobiNil's current & prospect postpaid customers who subscribe to "1 Line 2 SIM Cards" will be able to subscribe to all the company's services, such as CLIP +, Fax Mail, and use them on both SIM cards. All in all, "1 Line 2 SIM Cards" gives MobiNil customer's one line, with one number on one bill but used through two SIM cards. Meanwhile, the service will enable them to avoid the hassle of exchanging SIM cards between mobile handsets. Users of the service (Moga and MobiNil Business) will be able to make calls and send short messages from both SIM cards to any other mobile phone. The customer will receive calls and messages on the handset which has last been used, or that has been last switched off and on.
