MA Marketing Communications students' fortune to shine

A recent partnership between London's leading postgraduate university, Middlesex University and the region's foremost Advertising Agency, Fortune Promoseven, is set to offer excellent professional development and networking opportunities for students of the university's Master of Arts (MA) Marketing Communications programme. Under the agreement, a full scholarship will be offered to one student selected by an expert panel at Fortune Promoseven. The scholarship will cover 100% of the student's tuition fees for the MA in Marketing Communications.

Middlesex University students will benefit from discussions, guest lecturers and industry workshops with leading professionals and industry experts from the Fortune Promoseven network.  Students of the MA Marketing Communications programme will also receive opportunities to expand their real-life exposure to the exciting industry of advertising through much-coveted internships at the Agency itself.

The MA Marketing Communication at Middlesex combines marketing strategy and the powerful tools of integrated marketing communications to support entry into, or progress in, a marketing career. The course covers the key subjects related to marketing communications as a strategic marketing tool, including an analysis of the core components of marketing communications, such as advertising, public relations and sales promotions.

Upon signing the agreement, Kamil Najjar, Chief Executive Officer at Fortune Promoseven said: "At Promoseven and the rest of MCN's offices, we recognize the importance of developing young talent in the exciting field of Marketing and Communications. This agreement will be a door-opener for young talent, and we hope to motivate them to take on new adventures, share ideas and bring new perspectives to the table. Effective and innovative communications is vital in a changing world like ours; we're proud to be spearheading an initiative that will help spread great ideas globally."

Dr. Cedwyn Fernandes, Programme Coordinator at Middlesex University Dubai said: "This agreement provides our students access to some of the best industry professionals within Fortune Promoseven, and they're greatly looking forward to the practical knowledge they'll receive, which will complement what they're already learning at Middlesex."
