For second consecutive year
Amman, June 2013 - Middle East Payment Services (MEPS)[m1] - a licensed issuer and acquirer of MasterCard cards and processor of all types of MasterCard transactions in Jordan and Palestine - successfully attained the PCI Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) Compliance Certification and Attestation of Compliance (AoC) for the second consecutive year. Deputy CEO for Technical and Operations and the Primary Representative for MEPS on the PCI SSC Board of Advisors, Izdehar Safarini, received the accreditation on behalf of the Company.
The accreditation was granted to MEPS in recognition of its strict adherence to guidelines that safeguard consumers' credit and debit card transactions through added reliability and security measures.
UK-based vulnerability management services provider, RandomStorm Ltd., offered MEPS a comprehensive range of its advanced scanning, monitoring and alerting consultancy services, all of which aided MEPS in completing and receiving the PCI DSS certification.
