Amman - Microsoft has kicked off its Office Home & Student campaign, providing students with the opportunity to receive special offers on PCs, preinstalled with Windows Vista, when purchasing Office Home & Student 2007 as a Fully Packaged Product, with a price decrease of 40% since last year making it more attainable to a larger segment of students across the Kingdom. Students can install the Fully Packaged Product on up to 3 PCs. Students will also have the opportunity to receive up to 15% discount on laptops purchased from Microsoft partners participating in the campaign.
Microsoft Office Home & Student includes essentials like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote. It provides students with intuitive tools that allow them to make the most of their education by achieving more, in less time. It enables students to complete their schoolwork more accurately and efficiently with its improved picture, charting and graphics tools that help produce better-looking documents, spreadsheets and presentations more quickly.
Office Home and Student 2007 makes it easier to format Microsoft Office documents with Live Preview and provides a digital notebook to gather, organize and search all types of notes and information. Microsoft Office Excel 2007 features highly visual conditional formatting with new data bars, more colorful gradients and icons that allow students to easily identify key data trends.

The Office Home & Student campaign packages were also distributed to 10 public universities at a Student Festival that was organized by Microsoft at the University of Jordan on Saturday November 29th.
