Amman, 09 February 2014 - Microsoft Jordan announced that it has signed an agreement with Umniah to co-launch a promotional campaign. As part of the campaign, Microsoft Jordan will provide Umniah Internet users with its Microsoft Office 365 as a subsidy for both prepaid and postpaid UMAX Broadband and EVO 3G offers. This partnership is a first-of-its-kind for Microsoft with a regional telecom operator.

This campaign corresponds with Umniah's goal to integrate cloud solutions in its products. It also emphasizes Microsoft's efforts to introduce Jordanian customers of all ages to cloud computing concepts and uses that facilitate personal or work-related tasks using the latest tools, subsequently enabling them to enhance their productivity and efficiency.

Microsoft Office 365 comprises Excel, Word and PowerPoint, among other commonly used programs. The platform also features OneDrive, which offers a cloud data sharing and saving capacity of up to 25 GB, and allows users to conveniently access data from any device or tablet.  

Over the course of the one-month campaign, Microsoft Jordan and Umniah will set up Microsoft Office 365 activation booths in five different locations between 2 - 14 February, 2014, providing technology fans and customers on the lookout for integrated services with the opportunity to learn firsthand about what the platform has to offer. The locations include SmartBuy in Cozmo, TAJ Lifestyle and Jordan University Street; as well as Umniah's main showroom in Shmeisani and Umniah VIP ULounge in Abdoun.

Microsoft Office 365 provides a customized cloud-based environment including Microsoft Exchange Online, Lync Online and SharePoint Online.
