Dubai, UAE - June 7, 2012 - Software AG has announced the appointment of Michael Rehm (50) as Managing Director of IDS Scheer Consulting GmbH as of June 1, 2012.

With Michael Rehm at the helm of IDS Scheer Consulting GmbH, Software AG has recruited an executive manager with an impressive track record in the consulting business both at a German and an international level. The appointment of Michael Rehm represents an important step in the process of successfully transforming the international IDS Scheer Consulting business line into an independent company.

Michael Rehm holds a degree in engineering and, most recently, was a senior vice president at SAP Deutschland working in the capacity of Director of Field Services, DACH (since 2006). He also served as a member of the SAP Deutschland AG management team. In addition, Rehm has held various management positions at Siemens, Digital Equipment and Accenture during the course of his career.
