Dammam, Saudi Arabia- Gathered from all around the Kingdom at the Middle East Batteries Company (MEBCO) in Dammam, winners of the ACDelco's wholesalers Spring Promotion received their prizes, twelve brand new Chevrolets. The promotion, launched last April, was the first of its kind to target the wholesalers segment.
Twelve cars keys were handed to the winners by Talal Al Zamil, MEBCO General Manager, and Adib Takieddine, Area After sales Manager-MEBCO. Winners, Hassan Al Yafiee Establishment and Salim Ali Al Moosa Establishment reaped the results of their hard work, with record sales of over 20,000 units of ACDelco's batteries each and drove away with brand new 2007 Chevrolet TrailBlazers.
The second tier of winners received three new Chevrolet Optras, and seven Chevrolet Aveos where presented to the third tier of winners. Thrilled with the achievement of the ACDelco wholesalers in 2007, Al Zamil said: "We are very proud of the excitement that the spring promotion generated. While we faced our obstacles and managed to breakthrough with encouraging results during the past months". Al Zamil thanked the distributors for their support and urged them to work together to achieve their targets.

ACDelco MF batteries at present hold 40% of the market share in the Middle East, and are expecting greater results by the end of 2007.
