Lawrence Flanagan to Highlight the Challenges of Building Truly Global Brands and MasterCard's Brand Success Story
Dubai - Lawrence Flanagan, Chief Marketing Officer, Global Marketing, MasterCard International will highlight the challenges of building global brands when he takes part in a brand leadership panel discussion at the Leaders in Dubai summit, to be held in Dubai on November 28th - 29th.
Several business and political headline names will take part in the debate on leadership best practices at the conference. These include F.W. de Klerk, former President of South Africa and winner of the 1993 Nobel Peace Prize, Bill Clinton (via video cast), former President of the United States, Kenichi Ohmae, the former director of McKinsey Japan, who has earned global acclaim as 'Mr Strategy' and Arie de Geus, who was at the helm of Royal Dutch Shell for 40 years and has been described as "the global statesman" of business change.
Mr Flanagan will take part in an on-stage discussion with brand strategist Scott Bedbury, who was responsible for the revitalization of the Nike and Starbucks brands, immediately after Mr Bedbury has given a presentation on the afternoon of November 29th.
As MasterCard International's chief marketing officer, Mr Flanagan has primary responsibility for the worldwide strategic evolution and management of MasterCard's consumer and corporate brands. He has been the driver of MasterCard's award winning "Priceless" campaign, which has received more than 100 marketing effectiveness and creative industry awards since it was introduced in 1997 and is airing in more than 105 countries worldwide.
