Mapei's range features over 150 environmentally friendly products such as adhesives, sealants and building chemicals
MAPEI, global leader in the production of adhesives, sealants and chemical products for buildings, has announced that it will hold a special presentation with the theme "Maximizing Efficiency - Getting More for Less" to serve as one of the highlights of CityBuild Abu Dhabi 2010, which will be held from April 18 to 21 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre. MAPEI's presentation is scheduled between 1:15 - 1:45 pm in Hall 9. MAPEI will also conduct a live demonstration on some of its high-demand products such as cement based adhesives, rapid hydrating self-levellers, tile adhesives and high-performance coloured grouts, showcasing how MAPEI products help in enhancing efficiency of construction projects.
MAPEI also revealed that it will showcase the full range of its concrete repair and other solution-driven offerings, and will specifically highlight some of its locally manufactured products such as Mapegrout T 80 and Mapegrout ME 06 at CityBuild Abu Dhabi, which is co-located alongside the fourth edition of Cityscape Abu Dhabi. Mapegrout T 80 is a single component sulphate and chloride resistant, fibre-reinforced thixotropic high-strength mortar for the repair of concrete, whilst Mapegrout ME 06, is a high-strength, shrinkage compensated, super flow micro-concrete.
MAPEI also announced that it is the associate sponsor of the exhibition and also the inaugural 2010 CityBuild Awards for Excellence in Construction, which recognises the significant contributions of companies and individuals to the development of the construction sector worldwide. Primed to become one of the premier awards event in the regional construction industry, CityBuild Awards for Excellence in Construction, will honour its pioneering awardees during the CityBuild Abu Dhabi Construction Summit on April 19, 2010.

At CityBuild Abu Dhabi, MAPEI will showcase over 150 products that have been recognised to contribute to LEED certification, and which comply with most other environmental and green building certification systems.

CityBuild Abu Dhabi is a new international trade exhibition for the building and construction industry. The event will bring together suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, importers and procurement decision makers from the construction and real estate industry.
