United Arab Emirates 07 July 2012: The office of her Excellency Mrs. Datin Mansour, Malaysia first lady have announced today her participation as one of the key speakers at the 12th edition of the Asia Pacific Conference on Giftedness which will be held between the period 14th - 18th July, 2012 at the International Convention & Exhibition Centre in Dubai.   

The head of the National Committee Gifted youth in Malaysia, and the sponsor of the "Premata Niagara" program for giftedness H.E Mrs. Datin Mansour will head the Malaysian delegation to the conference which will includes 120 officials, including the Minister of Education.

The first lady of Malaysia have occupied many important positions during her career including the Chairperson of the labor policy commission "Permata Negara", also she was the president for the Welfare Association of Minister's Wives (BAKTI). The State University of Louisiana graduate began her career as CEO at the Bank of Bertanaan in Kuala Lumpur Bank Pertanian Malaysia.

UAE is the first Arab and Middle Eastern country that hosts the event in the Middle East since it was first launched 24 years ago. More than 45 countries represented by the Ministers of Education of these countries, and the heads of various educational bodies as well as teachers and talented students in various areas.

Form his end, Dr. Jamal Al Muhairi, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Secretary General of Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Distinguished Academic Performance and Deputy Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Conference commented on the event by saying: "The Conference of Asian and Pacific nations for talent is first-class international event, where is the development of teaching talent, one of the pressing issues that States have been focusing on, considering that talent is seen as a national asset that must be preserved and developed, there's no doubt that an Iconic figure such H.E Mrs. Datin Mansour will constitute an added value to the conference and promote the event to the intentional community ".

The confirmation of the participation of Malaysia's first lady at the 12th Asia-Pacific Giftedness conference came during visit of the organizing committee to the State of Malaysia, who reviewed during its meetings the latest developments and preparation of the conference which is organized by the Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Distinguished Academic performance.
