Gulf Extrusions, one of the largest aluminum extrusion plants in the Gulf, successfully held its first-of-its-kind seminar recently in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, that primarily aimed at introducing modern aluminum fabrication techniques to some 70 architects, consultants and fabricators from several East African countries. The one-day seminar featured comprehensive presentations by experts from Gulf Extrusions and sought to cover the gaps in knowledge with regard to latest fabrication systems and technologies. The seminar also tackled important aluminum industry-related topics such as anodizing, powder coating, fabrication and modern accessories.
"We are overwhelmed by the response generated by this seminar and we now plan to organise events on this scale more frequently, not only in Africa but across the Middle East markets as well," said Robert Holtkamp, Director of Sales and Marketing, Gulf Extrusions.
